It’s October. The leaves are changing and the air is suddenly crisp. Most importantly I’ve just ridden my bike through 103 miles of the most breathtaking scenery that Northern California has to offer.
That’s right, this week I got the chance to ride Levi’s Gran Fondo for the fourth time in the five years they’ve been running this spectacular voyage.
The beautifully orchestrated start takes place in Santa Rosa, CA but the terrain quickly changes throughout the day to reveal vineyards gorgeously sprawled out atop the foothills, pristine mountain creeks cutting through clusters of impossibly fantastic redwood forest, the sharp grades of the coastal mountain ranges, and sweeping descents down the magical curves of california coastline.
Feel free to sit back and enjoy a few photos from the day while I rest these tired legs :)
