Mountain biking in the high country - Ink and watercolor illustration

I’m always amazed by the sites that singletrack riding can deliver. In this piece, I enjoyed working from an overhead perspective to highlight some of my favorite elements of the trail.

In the foreground, the red dirt and clay that guide the rider break gradually to showcase the vibrant brush and vegetation that effortlessly define the bounds of the trail. In the background, a gentle silhouette of the majestic hills and mountains offer a sense of scale and hint at the wonder you feel when ripping it alone on the trails.
